10k, 1k, and Pine Valley

Jesse continued his training, this week by completing a 10k in 46 minutes (not including the hours of biking, swimming and additional running he did this week). He was so excited to do the race himself, he signed Cooper up for the 1k race that was taking place the same day. Now Cooper's asking when his next 1k is. Also, another race in the rain??? For reals? I hope this isn't foreshadowing the ironman!
Later that day we drove through the snow up to Pine Valley for Spencer's birthday party at the Hardy cabin. We couldn't remember the exact turn, and just as I was starting to time some ill-timed contractions.... that's right... we slid off into the snow and got stuck. Luckily the cabin was just through the trees so Jesse walked down and got spencer to drive up and pull us out. Whew! Oh, and the contractions stopped. No baby birthed in the car stuck in the snow....

...unfortunately.
But a beautiful Pine Valley! Happy Birthday brother!
