Sick Boy.

Yesterday we went to a barbeque for Jesse's Cousin Tanner who just graduated from college, Cooper started out the afternoon like this:Trying to jump like the boys:

By the time we left, he looked like this:

He felt warm, and since he had the flu a few weeks ago I was worried that something might be really wrong. One of those gut feelings, you know? We took him into our doctor's clinic and by the time we got there he had a fever of 102! They felt around his stomach, looked in his ears, had him pee in a cup, listened to his chest, and took his oxygen level, but still they couldn't find what was wrong. They did a chest x-ray and, this is the worst part.... they had to take his blood :( Finally the doctor noticed what looked like pnuemonia in his lungs so they had to give him a shot of antibiotic in his bum. :( Poor kid! We told him on the way to the doctor that he probably wouldn't have to have any "pokes" and then when we get there he has to have 2! Ugh! I felt so bad, and Jesse felt worse because he had to hold him, but Cooper felt the complete worst because now he has a sore bum! Can you believe it? He went from completely healthy to deathly high fever in a matter of hours! Lucky for us he has antibiotics and should be better in a matter of days. Already his fever went down on it's own and he's back to his normal self. Whew!

Also, just so this isn't a complete downer post, turns out Leila had a great time at the barbeque and continues to show no signs of sickness:Great job Leila! Way to be adorable!
