They had fun with the games, and Cooper attempted his first sack-race. He didn't quite get the hopping down but I think he just liked being in the sack.
Saturday we colored eggs at Grandma Wendy's without too much spillage on ourselves. Leila kept this same "concentrated" face for the whole ordeal. I guess coloring eggs takes much effort.
At the easter egg hunt at Grandma Moniques Leila did a little better than her first shot only pausing to open a few eggs before discovering that there were more all over the lawn. I think it helped that there weren't tons of kids twice her size threatening to run her down.
Poor little cooper had the week long flu and this is what he did during the easter egg hunt:
Good thing Daddy was there to keep him company :)
Easter morning we er.. the easter bunny completely forgot to come so he came by while the kids were taking their pre-church nap (1 o'clock church is a toughie). Leila just ate her first sour piece of candy so no luck getting a smile out of her:
Cooper's 2 favorite's were his easter bunny ears and his coloring book:
I'm still not sure what Leila's favorites were (probably jelly beans), but she liked getting pretty in her Easter dress for church
Cooper still had his stomach bug so he didn't get to get dressed up in his matching blue tie. I think I'm the only one sad about that. He was sad he didn't get to go to "primaried".
Leila finally warmed up to her bunny ears later in the day, and even wanted to wear Cooper's!

Cooper is just now recovering from his stomach bug (I hope none of any of you or your kids get it because it lasts for a FULL WEEK!) so we're still saving his easter candy for him. I have to watch Jesse to make sure he doesn't swipe too much of it or Cooper will definately notice. Now the problem seems to be that I caught Cooper's bug! Leila is still fine thank heavens! I can't eat very much so Marshall gets really mad and starts punching my bladder whenever my blood sugar dips too low, that's when I know I have to force down some cheerios or applesauce to appease him. I think he's going to be a ravenous eater like Cooper, I guess we'll see in 8 more weeks!
