No Food Allowed

I found the pregnancy sickness that was lost for a few weeks. It is now my constant companion as I go through my day. I have a hard time even thinking of food, let alone making it for my two little eaters. Jesse has found that the best way to get me to eat is to not tell me what he's making (the process of preparing food makes me want to.... you know!), and then just put the plate in front of me. I can usually force a few bites down, enough to lessen the nausea. I just hope I can make it through to the good part of pregnancy! Wish me luck!

Oh shoot Laura, I am sorry that it caught up to you. I got hit at about 6 weeks too. I have found that ice cream is always good and gargling scope before and after meals has been a life saver too. Let us know if you need anything.

Sad, Laura! And you were doing so well! Have you tried those anti-nausea pregnancy multivitamins? They have worked magic for a couple of my friends who were just like you. Seriously, try it if you haven't already. I wish MY secret to weightloss was pregnancy! All it does to me is swell me up like a balloon!

Well that stinks! I'm sure you'll make it though, you always do!

Peppermint gum (just 1/2 of a 1/3 of a stick) after eating really helps me--though I might have to try the Scope!

i don't know what is about preparing food-it NEVER sounds good to me. Every time I go out or over to my in-law's or whoever for dinner I eat a ton, but nothing sounds appetizing when I make it myself. Weird. Pregnancy is weird.
