I finished Leila's quilt about a month ago but I forgot to show everybody! I can't believe how long one little quilt took to make! I started it when I was 7 months pregnant and I didn't finish till she was 2 mos. old! I think next time I'll try to piece together fabric that has more stiffness to it. That silky stuff, even though I starched it to make it rigid, took forever to piece together! As you might be able to see from the misaligned hems and stitches that it was my first attempt at piecing a quilt
together. Overall I am quite pleased at how it turned out. I hope it lasts her for as long as she cares to use it!

Aw Laura, it turned out beauty-fuuullll. psh, who cares if it's a bit bunchy in spots, gibs it character...and makes me wanna do one.
